He was also diagnosed with multiple medical symptoms that would be necessary to be diagnosed properly in order to perform the duties necessary. We also discovered our 2022 travel trailer falling apart from all the switchback dirt roads he needed to maneuver. Seems we faced a costly decision. Our discussion of him accepting the job came within minutes and our ‘shopping list’ begun. One of our best decisions was to purchase a custom made additional roof to protect the new Travel Trailer. Oregon Carports answered all our questions, provided insurance should something need repairs and offered to get us on the calendar before the next storm. We had spent months of rocks and branches hitting the trailer every time a powerful storm blew through. I was concerned that we would have to disconnect everything and wait for an appointment for service. I’d rather be prepared than disparaged. Especially if we had to wait for parts. Today, NOAA has predicted a late evening storm of high winds, heavy rain and in higher elevations; more snow. I know we will be fine. Last week I worried about the river overflowing its banks. It did, but from the other side. Hwy 38 had multiple landslides but the Heavy equipment, rock haulers and electrical repair truck were hard at work. The news reported damage to Drain and Roseburg yet we remained dry and the sound barrier above us helped keep the noise down.

After the clean up I did extensive research into the various companies that install metal buildings and carports. Consitantly, Oregon Carports had great reviews so I went with them. They contracted with a local business called Heavy Metal Carports here in Washington state. I was not disappointed. Ricardo and his two crew members Alonso and Javier were absolutely a true pleasure to work with. Very professional and polite they worked into the night with flood lights and braved icy conditions on the roof to complete the project on time. After Ricardo and crew were finished they took me on a tour to show me all of the details that they incorporated into the installation. The building is 35’ long by 18’ wide by 12’ high. The quality and precision of the building Ricardo and his crew constructed truly exceeded my expectations and I’m pretty fussy. They made it clear to me that if I ever had any problems a simple phone call is all it will take to remedy. I plan to have another smaller building installed later this year and I will ask for Ricardo and his crew by name. Thank you all!
